Reality Check
While celebrating Christmas at my MIL 1.0’s house today, my cell phone rang. I couldn’t get to it quickly enough so it went into voicemail and, after playing a bit of phone tag, had my heart broken for the second time in less than a week.
A very dear friend of mine from Junior League suffered a massive heart attack on Christmas day. And died. Kim was only 36 years old and mom to two sweet boys, one mostly still a baby. She was an amazing woman, a petite blonde spitfire who nevertheless filled a room with her presence. I am in shock, stunned, crushed.
I’m taking a little blog break because I need to say goodbye to a friend far, far earlier than I ever could have expected.
I’m so sorry for your loss. 36? Wow….that’s way too young. 😦
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family and her family.
I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. My prayers will be with all families.

It is always so shocking when people die that young and unexpectedly. I’m sorry that you’ve lost such a dear friend.
I am so sorry, what a tragedy of a life lost way too young. My heart and prayers go to her sons, husband, family and all of her friends. What a loss.
